Michael Fulcher

Since joining the Cathedral staff in October 2004 Michael has moved rapidly to expand the already fine tradition of cathedral music. He is responsible for all music activities in the Cathedral, and is the first contact in this regard. With a background in both church music and opera he is increasingly sought after in city and national music circles.

Michael is the Director of the Cathedral Choir, Cathedral Choristers and the St. Paul’s Chorale.

Thomas Gaynor

Thomas first discovered pleasure in music-making at the age of 10, when he started piano lessons. He began organ lessons when he was 13 years old. By the age of 15, he had earned Grade Eight ABRSM in both instruments.

Heather Easting

Heather has enjoyed a wide range of musical experiences, including playing the piano in chamber music, and the cello in orchestras in Wellington. She gained Dip ABRSM in Piano Performance at the age of 15 as a pupil of Gillian Bibby, and is now studying with Catherine McKay. She sang with the Cathedral Choristers for seven years, and has since been singing in the Cathedral Choir.
