Heather has enjoyed a wide range of musical experiences, including playing the piano in chamber music, and the cello in orchestras in Wellington. She gained Dip ABRSM in Piano Performance at the age of 15 as a pupil of Gillian Bibby, and is now studying with Catherine McKay. She sang with the Cathedral Choristers for seven years, and has since been singing in the Cathedral Choir.
She began organ lessons at the age of 12 with Max Kenworthy. She has been the organist for St Mark's Church School for two years, and has played for services at several churches in Wellington. Last year at the age of 16 she began studying Musicology and German at Victoria University, and is also studying Organ Performance this year with Douglas Mews.
